 ACT 4-22-2013 049

ACT4Adults was created so that ACT Alumni and other adults, post-secondary education, could purse their careers locally while mentoring today’s youth.

No longer referred to as the Touring Company, ACT4Adults provides volunteer and employment opportunities. Members must complete a volunteer application and a background check. Members may be employed or volunteer for any number of support roles for each main stage production and/or the organization. The age range for the adult component is 18 and older.

Fostering a culture of volunteerism and philanthropy is one of our operating principles. To advance the ideals of volunteerism and philanthropy, we have revitalized our volunteer program. We use Volgistics, a web-based secure software system, for tracking our volunteers.  Through the Volunteer Information Center, volunteers may complete an application, create a unique profile, sign up for assignments and report their service hours. All data is saved on a secure server. Once new recruits have completed a checklist of requirements including their limited criminal background checks, they are ready to get to work. Parents who support the organization through their volunteer efforts help their children earn $tarbuck$ bonuses. We encourage all volunteers to carefully review the list of volunteer opportunities and let the Volunteer Coordinator know your interests.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the Volunteer Coordinator, Ms. Diane Lewis at 317-627-4755 or via e-mail at dlewis@asantechildrenstheatre.org. Thank you again for your interest in our volunteer program.
